Expo Unikids 2025
UNIKIDS is an interactive exhibition dedicated to children and parents, held at Chișinău Arena in May 2025. The project brought to life a miniature city, where each small house represented a distinct world — a space for play, imagination, and art.
I had the honor of contributing to this project as an illustrator and visual artist, alongside Victoria Peev-Dolghier — concept artist, and Grati Sorina Nicoleta — architect and visual artist, responsible for the overall design and artistic direction of the ensemble.
Together, we developed a playful and cohesive visual language, illustrating each house on all four sides, including the roof. The creative process involved:
-
translating a narrative concept into an expressive and accessible visual composition;
-
adapting the artwork to the three-dimensional wooden structures, with attention to detail and proportion;
-
collaborating closely with the technical team to apply and seamlessly integrate the printed visuals onto each architectural element.
Each house was treated as a unique piece with its own visual identity — from stylized scenes of miniature urban life to playful details that invite interaction and exploration.
The project was coordinated by Violeta Darsalia and Nadejda Gorea, whose vision and involvement made this successful blend of art, education, and multisensory experience possible.
This collaboration was a passion project for me — a genuine encounter between illustration, storytelling, and built space, born from a shared love for beauty and the world of childhood.
