In 2013 I contributed as a concept artist and character designer for the casual game Nearwood casual game project at Magicindie SRL, a project that allowed me to explore the creation of an enchanting fantasy world filled with nature-inspired creatures and breathtaking environments.

KEY CONTRIBUTIONS:

  1. Logo Design:

    • Developed initial logo concepts that captured the essence of the game.
  2. Interior & Exterior Scene Design:

    • Crafted immersive interior and exterior environments using a collage technique to blend multiple image sources into cohesive and realistic compositions.
    • Redesigned and painted over the collages to ensure seamless integration and a polished final look that embodied the game's magical atmosphere.
  3. Character Design:

    • Designed creatures inspired by nature and animals, giving life to unique inhabitants of the fantastical world of Nearwood.

 



ABOUT GAME


Nearwood takes players on an emotional journey filled with mystery and danger:

  • Plot: Help Owen Wright rescue his daughter, Olivia, from the clutches of the Lonely Hearts Killer, a sinister figure targeting those who have suffered heartbreak.
  • Setting: A richly detailed late 19th-century British city where intrigue, suspense, and crime collide.
  • Objective: Solve puzzles, unravel secrets, and stop the killer to bring justice and peace.
